| Conversation Heart Strawberry Filled Cookies
Sugar Cookie
1 Cup and 3Tbs. Butter
3/4 Cup Shortening
2 Cups Sugar
4 1/2 Cups Flour
2 Eggs
2tsp. Vanilla
1tsp. Imitation Strawberry Extract
1tsp Red Food Color
dash of salt ( about 1/4 tsp.)
1tsp baking soda
Directions... whip butter and shortening then add sugar, eggs,
vanilla. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly mix together.
Refrigerate dough for 20 minutes then roll out onto a flour surface.
Cut and the lift up shape with a spatula. Fill with your favorite frosting when
cool.
oven temp 350 for 10 minutes
take out just before they get brown for a soft cookie...
